How Deliberae handles your data, in every market where the site is live.
Last updated: 2026-10-31
1. Who is responsible
Deliberae (deliberae.com) is the controller of this site and of this document. For anything related to personal data, write to contact@deliberae.com.
2. What this document covers
This policy applies to deliberae.com, to the review and comparison pages, and to the virtual assistant that talks with you on WhatsApp. Each market has its own version of this text in the local language; the Brazilian version is the reference for readers in Brazil.
3. Data we collect
We collect the minimum needed for the site to work:
- Cart: the products you add are stored only in your browser (localStorage). There is no cart server and no user account on the site.
- Access logs: the server logs requests (IP address, date and time, page visited) for a limited period, for security and diagnostics.
- Audience measurement: when enabled, Google Analytics 4 records visited pages, traffic source and audience data in aggregated form.
- Newsletter: if you subscribe, we store your email address and the record of your consent.
- WhatsApp conversation: when you talk to the virtual assistant, we store the phone number, the messages exchanged and, if you send one, the transcription of your voice note. The history is used only to keep the service going.
4. Why we use each piece of data (legal basis)
Each dataset has a justification, under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law 13,709/2018) and the GDPR in the European Union.
- Performance of a contract: keeping your cart, replying to your messages and delivering the newsletter you asked for.
- Legitimate interest: site security, troubleshooting and aggregated audience measurement, always with minimal data and no data sales.
- Consent: measurement cookies and sending the newsletter. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation: keeping records when your country's law requires it.
5. Cookies and local storage
The site uses localStorage to remember your cart: that is what keeps your shopping list there when you come back. This is local storage in your browser, not a tracking cookie sent to us.
When audience measurement is active, Google Analytics 4 sets its own cookies. You can clear them in your browser settings or block third-party cookies.
When you click a product link to Amazon, Mercado Livre or Magazine Você, the partner store may set its own cookies. From that click on, the store is the one processing the data, under its own policy.
6. Affiliate links and commission
We take part in the Amazon Associates program and are affiliates of other stores, such as Mercado Livre and Magazine Você (Magalu), in some markets. When you buy through one of our links, the store may pay us a commission. The price you pay is the same with or without our link.
We do not sell browsing data and we do not share reading habits with partner stores. The link carries only the affiliate identifier required by each store's program.
7. The virtual assistant on WhatsApp
The WhatsApp assistant is an artificial intelligence service from Deliberae. It talks with you about products, reads what you type or send as a voice note, and sends purchase links.
To do that, your phone number, the messages and the audio content (converted to text) are sent to our infrastructure providers: Cloudflare, which hosts the service, and Anthropic, which processes the conversation with the language model. Those providers handle the data only to run the service, under the contracts we have with them.
The service history is used only to keep the conversation going and to answer messages that are still open. You can ask for your history to be deleted at any time, by writing to contact@deliberae.com, and you can end the service whenever you want.
8. Sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data to advertisers. We share data only with:
- Infrastructure and AI operators (Cloudflare, Anthropic and email providers), so the service works.
- Partner stores (Amazon, Mercado Livre, Magazine Você and others) when you choose to click a product link: there the store applies its own data rules.
- Public authorities, where there is a legal obligation.
9. International transfers
The site is hosted on Cloudflare and the service uses AI models hosted in the United States, so part of the processing happens outside your country. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards required by applicable law (standard contractual clauses and adequacy decisions) and keep processing limited to what is necessary.
10. How long we keep data
Each kind of data has its own retention period:
- Cart: it stays in your browser until you clear storage or the browser.
- Access logs: rotated within 90 days.
- Audience measurement: Google Analytics 4 keeps user data for up to 14 months.
- Newsletter: your email stays as long as the subscription is active.
- WhatsApp conversations: kept for as long as the service needs them; deletion requests are fulfilled within 15 days.
11. Your rights
Under the LGPD and the GDPR, you can ask for: confirmation of whether we process your data; access to it; correction of incomplete or outdated data; anonymisation, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data; portability; information about sharing; withdrawal of consent; objection to processing not based on consent; and review of automated decisions.
To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@deliberae.com with the subject “Privacy”. We reply within 15 days. If you think the answer was not enough, you can complain to the data protection authority of your country (in Brazil, the ANPD).
12. Security
Encryption in transit (HTTPS) on every page, restricted access for the team that handles service data, and periodic review of permissions. No system is infallible: if an incident affects your data, we will notify you and the competent authority as required by law.
13. Children
The site is intended for people over 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
14. Changes to this policy
We update this document when the site, the partner stores or the law change. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page, and material changes may be highlighted on this page.
